Researchers from the VIB-UGent Center for Plant Systems Biology present concrete research results to lower nitrogen usage by targeting microorganisms in the soil. Their findings have been published in various scientific journals.

Every year, the EU's Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions provide postdoctoral fellowships to promising researchers. With a Marie Curie (or MSCA) fellowship, scientists and scholars can carry out research activities abroad, acquire new skills, and develop their careers. VIB is happy to host at least five new Marie Curies fellows this year.
